Aspen Expeditions

This was a big challenge for me. Though I’ve climbed 45 14K’ers, I was really intimidated by the Class 4 climbs left on my list. I turned to Aspen Expeditions to help me make this big transition. Nate Rowland was an amazing guide. I can’t think of a safer mountain guide. He knew the route rock by rock, which allowed us reach the summit in five hours.

This second day with Todd was such a pleasure. Putting my newly learned skills to the test safely on the rock (on one of my favorite climbs on the pass nonetheless) was extremely helpful to me. The different scenarios we ran through throughout the day helped me become more prepared than I've ever been for a climb I've been attempting with my boyfriend for 4 years now in the Wind River range. So much thanks to Todd, his generosity, and his wealth of knowledge for helping me reach this dream! I really can't thank him enough!

This was such an empowering, eye-opening day for me with Todd. He sincerely met me where I was at with my skills and knowledge and with where I wanted to be. He was patient, VERY adaptive to my learning style, easy to ask questions, and friendly and relaxed all day long. It was such an enjoyable learning environment and left me feeling like I unlocked so many doors in the outdoors. I am so appreciative!
