Enjoy a beautiful private guided paddle boarding adventure on the Kings River for just you and your family amd friends. Get closer to nature, get outside and go paddle boarding. The view is amazing from a stand up paddle board (SUP). You have the choice to sit or stand as all of our paddle boards can have a kayak style seat attached and our SUP paddles convert to kayak style paddles with 2 blades. This is the perfect section of the Kings River for new paddlers, families with children and expreinced paddle boarders as well. Learn to paddle or improve your skills! This trip is perfect for you and your friends or family to paddle at your own pace with our certified paddle board guide instructors.
This fun paddle boarding float is a clear water trip along gravel bars and through scenic wilderness. All our adventures include instruction from beginner to advanced. If you are not a paddle boarder yet, you will be after your tour! We will start by going over safety tips, sizing your paddle and learn the best way to get on a board. Next, in a calm, clear water area, we get on the boards and get comfortable. We include paddling techniques, tips and instruction based on the needs of each paddler.
On your tour you may paddle, swim, stand or just float sitting on the boards. You may see fish, birds and other wildlife.
Your guide will personally photograph and video your adventure.
This 4.7 mile float usually takes 3 hours of paddling time, depending on water levels and the pace of each individual paddler. And with the private tour option we can stop and play longer, float slower etc.
Plan on arriving around 10 am to shuttle your vehicle to the Farm and riding back to launch with the Kings River Outfitters Shuttle. We will launch after the vehicles have been moved and be on the water between 11 and 12.
We launch from Kings River Outfitters just north west of Trigger Gap and Highway 221 and get out at The Farm which is about 4.7 miles up river. This trip is dependent on the water levels so please call us 3 days before your tour to confirm water levels are adequate.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations and rescheduling of activities. We will work with you to reschedule to a new date or if you need to cancel entirely we will provide a partial refund for private tours, minus $50 per person and a 5% handling fee, with 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel inside of 48 hours or do not show up, you will not be refunded, and will have to reschedule by paying full price.
$100 per person for private tour is required at the time of booking your adventure with Sea Dog Eco Tours. The remaining balance is due three days prior to reservation. Please call to check river levels three days prior to arrival.
Please review all FAQ's on our website to ensure you understand all requirements prior to booking. If you have any questions, please call 231-335-7278 or eMail tours@seadogecotours.com
Trip fee includes the Shuttle Service Fee for Kings River Outfitters to shuttle you back from dropping your car off so it's waiting for you at the end of the tour plus the $5 per person access fee for using landing site at The Farm*
We also offer Group Tours and can accomodate larger private groups with additional guides for the optimum experience. Our Guide to guest ratio of 1 guide for 3 to 4 people is based on our desire to offer you a premium river adventure experience.
