Trip: BIPOC Gym to Crag! (Half Day)

The event was moved indoors due to weather and we didn't get to climb outdoors. While not ideal, Jenny and Judy did an amazing job in hosting the indoor class and providing much needed information on how to safely climb outdoors. They showed everyone how to build different anchors, cleaning a route, top roping and many safety measures, all of which I found very helpful.

We had an incredible time ice climbing at a beautiful location. Owen is a fantastic teacher, who was really able to break things down which sped up our learning. We felt safe the entired time and like we improved so much in such a small period. Owen was hilarious and great company! Would 100% recommend to anyone!

The trip was amazing! Our guide Owen was easy going and very helpful and encouraging. He let us go at the wall without any tips to figure it out. After my partner and i made it up without instructions he gave us something to work on each climb. This method allowed us to both improve with every climb throughout the day. The climbing spot we went to was not crowded and we essentially had the entire place to ourselves. I cant recomend willard mountain guides enough to friends and coworkers!
